Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a candidate to join Proof & Audit Team, preferably with general knowledge of Accounting & Finance.
Role description:

As Proof and Audit Senior Specialist – Associate 2 you will:

  • Prepare/review annual/semi-yearly/quarterly/monthly reconciliations e.g General Ledger to Sub Ledger, Balance Sheet Review, Accounting vs Custody reconciliation
  • Prepare/review external and internal reporting
  • Establish and maintain direct/indirect contact with Auditors via email, platforms, periodic status calls
  • Respond to Client and Auditor queries timely with ability to clearly articulate results
  • Take responsibility for personal development and training - actively seek opportunity for self and team improvement; train less experienced members of your team (be a buddy)
  • Keep Team Manager and seniors informed of your daily work progress and status of requests, take action as required
  • Support in management of assigned clients in line with expected KPI (100%) and internal and external client satisfaction
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as required from your manager
  • Keep up to date with department procedures and controls
  • Demonstrate good time organizational skills in order to meet deadlines
  • Cooperate with several departments: Financial Reporting, Fund Accounting, Client Delivery Management, Custody, Security Valuation, Expense Teams and other CoEs
  • Hybrid working model – ability to work in alignment to recommended persona requirements

Required skills:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance would be an asset
  • Strong Fund Accounting background and understanding of investment fund environment
  • Possess 1-2 years’ experience in Financial Industry
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Presentation skills - ability to articulate (verbally and written) information to global parties
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Team player
  • Embrace Speak Up, Listen Up culture – ability to willingly share thoughts/opinions within team and department.
  • Collaboration within and outside immediate reporting lines
  • Very good command of English required
