Description:
We are offering an opportunity for a Property Administrator in the education industry, specifically within a university setting, located in San Francisco, California, United States. This role involves being the initial point of contact for all inquiries and work orders within the university, managing the triage center for handling trades and work orders, and coordinating with vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for all inquiries and work orders within the university
- Manage the triage center for handling trades and work orders
- Follow up on work orders to ensure they are completed on time
- Collaborate with vendors, primarily for pest control, ensuring they receive work orders and have the necessary tools and keys
- Handle the processing of work orders through various communication channels, including email, phone calls, or online forms
- Efficiently dispatch work order requests to the appropriate vendors
- Maintain streamlined communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and feedback is gathered
- Conduct follow-ups with residents to obtain reviews and ensure satisfaction
- Utilize software such as StarRes, Oneside, and Yardi to manage work orders and vendor coordination
- Apply critical thinking skills to escalate issues when necessary and deescalate situations to provide solutions
- Handle a wide range of personalities, showing patience, especially with students who may struggle to articulate their problems
- Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to be both proactive and reactive in various situations.

- Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
- Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook
- Understanding of Accounting Functions
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
- Ability to handle Correspondence
- Experience in Documentation
- Knowledge of Insurance processes in a university setting
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred
- Experience in the education industry, specifically in a university setting, is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
