We are currently recruiting for an Global Claims Handler to join our established and experienced Commercial Property team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
Your role
Due to growth within Commercial Speciality Lines, RSA has an exciting opportunity to join the CE&RE & Global Team within the Commercial Claims department as a Claims Handler based in our Manchester office.
As a Claims Handler you will be responsible for handling a caseload of UK & overseas claims for some of our largest worldwide customers. Alongside this, you’ll be working closely with our colleagues and partners across the globe to ensure our customers receive first class claims service.
You will handle claims from registration through to settlement liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a consistent basis, building great working relationships with our customers, brokers and suppliers.
We’re particularly keen to hear from people who have experience of handling either CE&RE (Construction Engineering/Renewable Energy claims, Global claims or Wholesale International Property claims.

You will be responsible for the efficient & effective settlement of our customers insurance claims up to £100k. You will build & grow relationships with our customers, brokers and suppliers, being their dedicated contact within the CE&RE & Global Claims team.
You will also be responsible for managing complex financial arrangements including captive aggregate deductible programmes.
About you
You will ideally have experience and knowledge of general claims processes and good working understanding of property damage claims as you will be handling claims up to £100k from notification through to settlement.
You will be an engaged, vibrant person who has a passion for customer service with experience of managing & organising your own caseload.
It would be desirable but not essential to have experience in CE&RE (Construction Engineering/ Renewable Energy), multinational and London Market customers or come from a Commercial Property Claims background.
