Job Description
Property Engineer is a vital part of our maintenance operations. Reporting to the Lead Hand Property Engineer, you’ll ensure the smooth functioning of our facilities and equipment while delivering professional and friendly service. Your responsibilities include monitoring mechanical equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, and performing repairs as needed. With your 4th class power engineer designation and strong attention to detail, you’ll contribute to our safety and efficiency standards.

YOUR SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4th Class Power Engineer Designation is required
  • Valid Canadian’s driver’s license
  • Highly organized and decisive, with the ability to handle multiple projects under deadlines and changing priorities
  • Computer knowledge in energy management and building automation software programs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
  • Manual dexterity and physical ability to lift up to 25 kg

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Lead Hand Property Engineer, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain a proficient knowledge of the task checklist
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment operation
  • Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on property’s facilities and equipment
  • Experience with HVAC system, chiller, boilers, and refrigeration system
  • Perform chemical test for boiler and chiller, etc.
  • Ensure all work orders assigned will be done with the least possible delay, especially where guest comfort is concerned
  • Assist other trades as required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, overnights, rotating shifts, extended hours, and being available for emergencies
  • Other duties as assigned
