Description:

An new opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Solicitor to join a dynamic, fast-growing national property litigation team. The team, which has more than doubled in size over the last five years, operates out of six offices across the UK. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse client base that includes public and private sector landlords, tenants, real estate developers, local authorities, NHS Trusts, housing associations, social landlords, blue chip retailers and owner managed businesses.
What you’ll do:

As a Property Litigation Solicitor, you will be an integral part of a strong, national property litigation team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing your own caseload of mixed property litigation work, predominantly focusing on defendant housing disrepair work. You will also have the opportunity to handle commercial cases such as estate management work, possession actions, business lease renewals and injunctions. In addition to this, you may also deal with residential cases such as possessions, rent recovery and disrepair for both housing association and other residential landlords.

  • Manage your own caseload of mixed property litigation work
  • Assist other case handlers with their caseloads
  • Support and develop more junior members of the team
  • Participate in business development and profile raising initiatives including networking events
  • Complete MI procedures as required
  • Achieve set targets/KPIs
  • Ensure relevant deadlines, compliance and quality measures are adhered to
