    The built structures team oversees our residential tenancy supplier and manages our non-residential built structure portfolio and includes ‘for Toitu’ and ‘on behalf of other Government agencies’.
    We are seeking an experienced commercial/residential property manager who will work with facilities management suppliers. You will work collaboratively with the team who support our critical stakeholders, including Iwi Partners and internal staff to deliver property management plans, monitor and develop lease agreements and ensure that our built structure portfolio is well cared for.
    Our anchor day in the office is Thursday. We are open to mutually beneficial flexible working arrangements, in line with team expectations.
    A full NZ drivers licence is essential as regular travel is part of the role.

  • Provide property management to services for our commercial and residential properties across Aotearoa.
  • Completing detailed inspection reports of properties.
  • Collection of rent and managing arrears.
  • Being proactive with maintenance and ensuring all required jobs are organised in a timely manner and completed to a high standard.
  • Keeping up to date and understanding the latest market trends and the ongoing regulatory changes.
  • You will be based in our Hamilton or Wellington office.

  • Strong property & leasing management skills
  • Degree in property, planning, law, architecture, property management (preferred but not essential)
  • Cultural competency skills, and a deep appreciation for Te Ao Māori
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve and manage conflict
  • Financially astute
  • A focus on service and quality with the passion to deliver outstanding experiences
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Hold a full NZ drivers’ licence, and prepared to regularly travel

The annual salary range for this role is: $85,000-$100,000
