The part time Property Officer role is responsible for maintaining MiCare’s electronic maintenance system, currently managed by an external organisation The role may include involvement in setting up the system.

This position includes the following responsibilities;

  • Ensure MiCare’s compliance obligations are met in relation to contractor management and legislated and recommended timeframes for completion of maintenance at sites .
  • Undertake adjustments to the electronic maintenance system where required
  • Ensure contactors are engaged with current agreements or contracts
  • Liaise with contractors, property managers and maintenance officers to ensure that the companies have current insurances and that contractors attending site have current vaccinations, approved Police checks, WWCC and White or trade qualification cards where applicable prior to commencing on site.
  • Liaise with contractors, property managers and maintenance officers to ensure that external contractors have provided where applicable SWMS prior to commencing on site
  • Ensure that all file notes and contractor reports are stored within the appropriate portals relating to the work undertaken.
  • Assist MiCare stakeholders with their property requirements.
  • Support the property and procurement team activities including, but not limited to, request for quotation, request for tender, supplier negotiation and contract development and execution.
  • Work with the GMP, property managers and maintenance officers to create Purchase Orders, which accurately reflect the structure of the SLAs with Suppliers, in line with MiCare Governance and Delegation of Authority policies.
  • Monitor and manage the receipt of deliverables associated with property-related purchase orders.
  • General administrative tasks, data entry and order and supplier management.
  • Troubleshooting vendor, supplier and customer queries.
  • Willingness to learn and be part of a dynamic team.

Must have a drivers licence and be able to work in Australia.
