Join our team as the Property Operations Technician at The Star Brisbane.
The Star Brisbane, positioned at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct, will be Australia’s newest entertainment and leisure destination. Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.
The Property Operations Technician reports directly to the Property Operations Assistant Manager and is responsible for ensuring machinery is functioning in line with manufacturer requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for Property Operations.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be skilled in property maintenance and hold all relevant licenses. Coupled with your proficiency in using hand and power tools, you will have strong reporting skills – both computer based and logbooks. With your passion for delivering thrilling guest experiences, we are seeking applications from candidates who can work autonomously and within a team who have high levels of enthusiasm and attention to detail.

ABOUT US

The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.
When complete, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Property Operations Management team with operational aspects of the Property Operations Department
  • Use appropriate resources during each shift to ensure that the business demands are met
  • Complete field inspections as appropriate to ensure required operation of facility
  • Make recommendations to the Property Operations Manager for any energy saving ideas
  • Provide operational support when undertaking shift duties
