MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalency and demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Responsibilities:
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The primary purpose of this position is to monitor halls and office during working hours; providing customer service; providing information and assistance for visitors and stranded motorists; providing first-aid and transportation for an injured and sick person; testifying in court; traffic and criminal prosecution and testifies at university hearing or student court; patrolling parking lots and university campus or state institutions to detect fires; prowlers, vandals or other unusual conditions; identifies and deters crime, violations or potential hazards during assigned shifts hours.

Demonstrates the ability to ensure the compliance of departmental practices and university policies and procedures. He demonstrates advanced knowledge in the usage in force of security equipment and request resources from Supervisors with current emergency security practices

Demonstrates the ability to convey oral and written communications and the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Demonstrates the ability to provide assistance and relay information effectively to the University Officials and general public. Demonstrates knowledge to resolve and negotiate conflicts among parties.

Demonstrated the ability to provide assistance to motorists, direct traffic, and provide support for special events. He demonstrates the ability to react quickly and skillfully in emergency situations. Demonstrates the ability to respond to numerous types of calls for service on a daily basis and provides information and assistance to students, faculty, staff and visitors. Patrol Residence Halls and monitor doors.
