About the roles
Our Protective Security Officers (Auckland and Blenheim) are the core element of this team, providing a 24/7, 365 day protective security service to the New Zealand Intelligence Community which protects our information, personnel and assets. With the right training or experience, this is a role where you can succeed.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Respond to security incidents.
Deter, detect and delay unauthorised intruders.
Provide reassurance to the workforce, responding and supporting during emergency situations, at all times delivering a professional service.
Have the opportunity to work at other sites.
You will be required to work rostered shifts to maintain our security service - which entitles you to generous shift work allowances. This also provides a good work life balance.
PSO salary - $61,647 (+ benefits)
The Operational Team Leader (Auckland) plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of protective security services and advice to the NZIC. You will be responsible for:
Leadership, coordination and delivery of site security services.
Working with stakeholders to ensure that our people, information and assets are protected.
Ensuring our Protective Security Officers are prepared and supported to respond to security incidents and/or emergency situations that may arise.
Operational Team Leader salary - $120,358 - $133,732 (+ benefits)

Who are we looking for?
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with integrity, resilience and sound judgement. Prior experience in a frontline or customer service role is a bonus, as well as knowledge and experience with various computer systems. You will also need a current full NZ driver’s licence.

FOR THE OPERATIONAL TEAM LEADER ROLE, YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE:

Experience in leading a team and establishing a high-performing team culture.
Demonstrated risk management experience.
Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly across a diverse range of stakeholders.
Experience working in security or related industries would be beneficial.
