Role Summary:
Manage wood yard operation activities.
Responsibilities:
You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:• Supervise weigh/scale trucks if required for rotation or substitution.• Supervise the operations of feeding the picking lines, moving wood stored in the factory’s wooden patio.• Operate loader and other wood handling equipment.• Operate front end loaded, backhoe, and any other equipment required.• Operate tractor-trailer truck.• Operate utility vehicles to perform clean-up duties.• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance procedures on all mill processing equipment.• Arranging the wood stock and interfacing with forest transport supervisors.• Supervise of the chip preparation line and following the annual timber supply plan.• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:• A degree in the related job field.• Those with 1 to 2 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role will have an advantage but not essential.• Willing to relocate to the job location.
