About the role
Temporary part time opportunity to deliver competent level of psychology services as a member of a multidisciplinary team for adults experiencing a moderate to severe substance use disorder and/or complicated by other mental health concerns. To optimise psychosocial outcomes and achieve maximum benefit from hospital and health care services.
About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health’s values:

  • As a member of the multidisciplinary team, deliver contemporary competent level clinical psychology services based on valid and reliable evidence, are in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, and performed with a high degree of independence.
  • Actively participate in the multidisciplinary team by providing routine discipline specific clinical formulation and advice, as well as contribute to the development of individualised treatment plans including discharge planning and service provision.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of practices, procedures, protocols and other quality and service improvement and research activities adults within Metro North Mental Health - Alcohol and Drug Service (MNMH-ADS) to continually improve consumer care.
