Shaw healthcare is looking for a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic psychologist to join the team at Surehaven Hospital in Glasgow. Surehaven hospital is a low secure forensic service which specialises in the assessment and treatment of people with a mental illness. We are a purpose built 21 bedded low secure facility with two gender specific wards. Our objective is to offer excellent care and support to our patients in learning how to function independently and prepare for life in the community. We look at the strengths and needs of the individuals and promote recovery-based treatments and person-centred care.
The service works in partnership with a range of other services in both the statutory and voluntary sectors. The service comprises of nursing, medical, psychology, managerial and administrative personnel.
As the psychologist, you will be provided with various training opportunities which will enable you to progress within Shaw health care. You will be provided with a generous salary package and entitled to all the Shaw healthcare benefits.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £55,649.62 per annum
