ABOUT US
Having opened in 2007, Northside Psychology is a large, well-established private psychology practice in strong demand with clinics in Belconnen and Gungahlin. We also have interstate clinicians who provide Telehealth across Australia. We have a stable and cohesive team of Clinicians, ably supported by a dedicated administrative team.
Our mission is to improve Quality of Life. We strive to be the leading private psychology practice and the Employer of Choice. We pride ourselves on having a family friendly, highly professional and supportive environment.
We are after the right person, the right fit. We want to make it work and ensure our team members do not burn out.
We know our people count. Their determination, loyalty and dedication to delivering their service, makes a difference. We reward our team members with competitive packages and a wide range of benefits in recognition for the invaluable contribution they make to the lives of others.
Northside Psychology is an Approved Temporary Activities Sponsor and a Standard Business Sponsor with the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs. Suitably qualified and experienced overseas applicants who have completed their overseas skills assessment, and are registered with AHPRA (pending presentation in person), are invited to apply.
Northside Psychology is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We encourage applications from Indigenous Australians, people with disability, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, mature age workers and LGBTIQ+ people.
Responsibilities:
We have multiple positions open to applicants who are passionate about providing therapy to children, adolescents, couples, and families. We are also hiring a Senior Assessment Clinician who can improve our assessment protocols and procedures and provide Clinical Supervision in this space.
The roles would suit Registered Psychologists with or without an endorsement. Ideally, the successful candidates will be Board Approved Clinical Supervisors and keen to nurture Provisional and early Career Psychologists within our NorthStar Academy.
Unlike many other private practices, we offer a career pathway to ensure your continued growth as a practitioner. To progress your career, you may be able to diversify your role, or if desired, you could step into a leadership and management role. We want to work with you to achieve your highest potential at work.
