BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in developing integrated public affairs campaigns and policy positions.
- A passion for public affairs/media relations and the difference that the life sciences industry can make.
- Excellent Danish and English communications skills; especially written and presentation skills.
- Experience working in communications and senior advocacy/government/government relations/Media relations.
- A demonstrated interest in diabetes/obesity policy
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PREFERENCES:
- Experience working in a global organization or within a matrixed structure.
- A real team player with the ability to interact and collaborate well with people from all business teams.
- Ability to build a business case to attract internal funding for projects.
- Good analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
Lilly’s Public Affairs team is responsible for all Company interactions with the media, parliamentarians, government officials and community stakeholders.
As a Public Affairs Manager you will be shaping the external commercial environment in Denmark and preparing for the launch of Lilly’s innovative new medicines for Diabetes and Obesity in the Nordic countries. You will lead on specific projects and workstreams to support Lilly’s UK business and to best position existing and new products to gain market access, working in partnership with the wider Public Affairs and PRA teams and with regional and global colleagues. Your responsibilities will span across internal and external communications and policy work.
