We’re looking for a particular type of engineer that is able to have a real influence to the overall Building and Public Health engineering design of Infrastructure and Buildings.
Our client is a top INTERESTING international multi-disciplinary consultancy, building a reputation for working on a a range of prestigious and yet innovative projects. Taking on new build and refurbishment projects to smaller and very large.
They provide Building Services consultancy across all sectors. From initial survey and concept planning through to the design, engineering and fit-out, they require a Senior Public Health Engineer to join their vibrant team.
The Role

We’re looking for a particular type of engineer that is able to have a real influence to the design of services that include:

• Water and Gas. Domestic
• H&C water distribution
• Above and below ground sanitary plumbing & rainwater.
• Sprinkler design.
• Storm water disposal, design of rainwater harvesting systems, and SUDS systems.

Moving projects through their design evolutions to various stages of completion and handover.
The successful Public Health Engineer will be working on a mixture of interesting projects, including Date Centres, Healthcare, Laboratories, Commercial and more.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing new concept design specs including (but not limited to) the following Public Health sectors: hot and cold water systems; storm/flood below ground water drainage; and fire suppression systems including wet and dry risers
• Supervising and co-ordinating the work of other engineers
• Managing the production of drawings and reports and preparing public health specifications
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team

Qualifications & Experience

• Knowledge of using Revit and AutoCAD
• At least 5 years of demonstrable knowledge of a Building Services consultancy
• Knowledge of the full design and construction life cycle within the specific field of Public Health Engineering, from concept design through to site installation, defects inspection and commissioning.

• Developing new concept design specs including (but not limited to) the following Public Health sectors: hot and cold water systems; storm/flood below ground water drainage; and fire suppression systems including wet and dry risers
• Supervising and co-ordinating the work of other engineers
• Managing the production of drawings and reports and preparing public health specifications
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the tea
