NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Fellowship of the New Zealand College of Public Health Medicine (or equivalent) and a Master of Public Health
  • At least five years’ experience working in public health in Aotearoa New Zealand
  • Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, in Public Health Medicine
  • The ability to write and talk about complex issues clearly and concisely
  • Experience within large scale, multi program/project coordination and delivery across diverse functions, at a senior level
  • An understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, including how to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way in your role
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a willingness to learn and grow
