The following qualifications, skills and experience are desired for the successful candidate;

  • Professional Qualification with a relevant institution;
  • Applying research and data analysis approaches to provide evidence-based advice and insights for clients;
  • Background in a client-facing role within an engineering consultancy firm or experience working within an infrastructure owner/operator;
  • Project delivery team leadership experience; a track record of successfully forming and managing agile multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Proven business writing, research, communication, and organisational skills; including the ability to deliver complex work to time and budget;
  • Supporting business development and work winning activities

Responsibilities:

As a Principal Technical Advisor , you will be comfortable with uncertainty and able to handle a varied workload of clients and projects. We expect our senior staff to also help shape our work and teams to deliver excellence for our clients. We would expect you to be involved with work winning, project delivery and to lead tasks and teams. We would also expect you to be flexible and work in an agile way for our clients.
The successful candidate will be technical expert with excellent analysis and report writing skills. Capable in leading work with clients alongside leading projects and tasks and contributing as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop presentations and reports. You will be passionate about Learning continuously, adapting to new tasks, and working on different types of problems and solutions. Supporting us as we grow our team capability and services, and developing junior staff members will also feature within this role.
