DESCRIPTION

Job title: Purchasing Associate
Department: Purchasing and Supply Chain
Responsible for:Administration/internal procurement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continually chase and update purchase orders with the latest ETA information so this is relayed back to our customers.
  • Cancel and amend purchase orders where necessary and taking ownership of queries through to completion.
  • Liaise with Sales Team to communicate any issues arising with their orders.
  • Provide cover for other members of the department as necessary and perform other tasks if requested from time to time by the Purchasing Manager
  • To be continuously aware of Company Health and Safety Policies, including environmental, and always adhere to them.

Knowledge and experience:

  • Excellent administration skills;
