Description:
Robert Half is looking to staff a Purchaser with our rapidly growing client! This Purchaser will research vendors, products, and services and negotiate contracts for the best price and value. If you are an experience purchaser with excellent communication, inventory management and analytical skills, this may be the role for you.
What you get to do every day
- Examine purchased products upon delivery and note any issues
- Create reports on purchases and perform cost analyses
- Engage with new vendors and products at events, shows, and exhibitions
- Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams, making sure that goods are received on time
- Attend and contribute to meetings with staff and other stakeholders
- Monitor inventory and writing orders to refill stock
- Discuss and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors
- Conduct research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality for the best deal
- Keep records of purchased products up to date

- Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
