Description:

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our client’s team in the North Metro area. This is a direct-hire position and a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on interior design projects. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and promptly processing all orders, resolving price discrepancies, and managing back orders. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to address unresolved issues, expedite, and monitor shipments. Additionally, you will collaborate with interior designers, project managers, vendors, and the accounting department. Responsibilities:

  • Procure fixtures, furniture, and equipment for commercial and hospitality interior design projects.
  • Accurately enter purchase and sales orders in line with contracts, exhibits, proposals, and change orders.
  • Send purchase orders to vendors, review acknowledgments, and address any discrepancies.
  • Assess vendor payment processes and manage proforma invoices for payment.
  • Develop and maintain shipment reports.
  • Oversee order progress and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Coordinate order deliveries according to project installation schedules.
  • Obtain freight estimates.
  • Receive and log vendor invoices.
  • Charge customers according to contract and proposal agreements.
  • Follow procurement procedures in compliance with company policies.
  • Assist the team in creating and implementing efficiencies, standard tools, practices, and procedures.
  • Minimum of 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a construction or similar environment.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Sage a plus.
  • Experience with purchasing/accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal and external associates.
  • High attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software applications.
