Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain or equivalent
- At least 5 years of purchasing and ship docking management experience in Marine/Shipping industry.
- Good interpersonal and communication and negotiation skills
Responsibilities:
- Review and determine the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
- Identify potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor their progress, checking the quality of service provided.
- Work closely with the suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and internal Shipping Department.
