Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute the strategic Purchasing/Procurement plan aligning with overall business performance goals, taking ownership of vendor risk management.
- Oversee day-to-day sourcing processes company-wide, serving as a strategic business partner in purchasing.
- Evaluate sourcing options for products both locally and overseas, structuring demand plans and forecasting re-order trigger points by SKUs in collaboration with Logistics and Sales departments.
- Manage all aspects of the supply function, including supplier sourcing, price negotiation, quality, ordering, inventory control, and delivery.
- Prepare tenders, proposals, and participate in contract negotiations.
- Identify reliable sources of supply and engage complementary suppliers.
- Coordinate with freight forwarder companies.
- Monitor suppliers and coordinate inventory control activities to ensure stock levels are maintained at a satisfactory level across warehouse locations.
- Manage all contract pricing, terms and roll over schedules
- Proactively enhance internal control, cost-effectiveness, and waste control, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to optimize inventory control, supporting sales and reducing logistics costs.
- Establish and streamline processes and procedures.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability and customer focus within the Purchasing Team.
