• Develop and implement the procurement strategy aligned with the organization overall objectives and financial targets
• Forecast procurement needs, assess risks, and create contingency plans to ensure consistent supply
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service levels
• Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and a positive work environment
• Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop risk mitigation strategies
• Monitor global market trends, geopolitical developments, and industry changes that may impact procurement activities
• Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve procurement performance
• Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics, cost savings, and supplier performance for senior management

skills & experience required

• Master / Degree / Diploma in supply chain / mechanical / electrical engineering or related
• Min 8 years in procurement of tyre rubber and rubber related raw materials with 4 years in management
• Success in implementing procurement strategies and achieving cost savings
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and contract negotiation
