THE OPPORTUNITY

URM is looking for an immediate start Purchasing Officer to hit the ground running. Reporting to the Group Accountant & Senior Accountant, this role will be responsible for maintaining purchasing data and detailing accurate, and reliable reporting. This role is based out of Head Office in Chatswood.

  • Good understanding of SAP Business One.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating the purchasing of goods, materials, or services.
  • A big part of your job would be to raise, create, monitor, and expedite (as needed) purchase orders.
  • Manage supplier relations.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing data within SAP Business One; pricing, stock availability, supplier lead times and delivery dates.
  • Liaise with depots and warehouse to ensure goods receipts are reflected in SAP.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting.
  • Continuously seek to identify operational efficiencies to improve business productivity.
  • Assist and/or lead purchasing or cross functional business activities as may be required.
  • Work closely with accounts payable to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Maintenance of fleet rego’s and continuous monitoring of rego renewals.
