We have an exciting opportunity available for a QA Analyst to join our team in Sydney. This role will work within an Agile team (or teams) to gather and analyse functional and non-functional test requirements, translating them into executable test cases.
The role will be focused on helping to define, test, and validate accuracy of new and existing reports created for internal business use. This position plays a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of these reports at design and execution time and will require the ability to query and aggregate data across a wide range of databases and REST or SOAP endpoints.
The person in the role with engage with business stakeholders, developers, quality assurance peers and the DevOps team to ensure that quality and continues testing forms part of our development and deployment strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Timely design and build of test cases to validate user stories and sprint objectives.
  • Engage in business requirements workshops distilling test requirements both functional and non-functional and sharing that with the Agile teams as part of the planning and delivery process.
  • Development and execution of test cases to validate that newly developed or updated reports meet business requirements.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the Quality Assurance Strategy including Quality Standards, Test Plan and Test Case development procedures.
  • Identify and prevent the release of new application and service issues through test planning, test case development and test execution.
  • Gather and analyse functional and non-functional test requirements from business stakeholders and developers.
  • Promote collaboration, knowledge transfer, and skills transfer across the Quality Assurance team
