We’re growing! Our student base is rapidly expanding, and we are currently hiring for multiple positions across several departments. Our growth stems from two key factors: our commitment to providing exceptional educational content to our students by scaling our team with passionate individuals, and our pursuit of new opportunities to enhance our students’ learning experiences by innovating and broadening our capabilities and expertise as an organization.
Although this is a fully remote position, and you have the flexibility to work from anywhere, it’s essential to have significant overlap with standard working hours in Europe, as most of our product team is based there. Outside of this core overlap period, you have complete flexibility in determining your work schedule.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least two years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
• Expertise in testing Web User Interfaces
• Skilled in developing test cases and checklists
• Experience in writing automated tests, preferably in C#
• Utilization of test design and testing techniques with a strong understanding of their practical application
• Proficiency in developing and updating test documentation, as well as conducting test runs
• Understanding of client-server architecture
• A solid understanding of QA processes within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach
• Upper-intermediate proficiency in both written and spoken English, with effective communication skills
• Strong team player
• Open to giving and receiving feedback

GOOD TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN:

• Responsive test design
• Browser dev tools
• Building a testing process in high-intensity projects
• Performance testing
• Accessibility testing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Executing manual tests, including functional, regression, and cross-platform
• Establishing and enforcing QA protocols, monitoring adherence, evaluating their effectiveness, and pursuing ongoing improvements in our QA process
• Creating and maintaining test documentation such as checklists, test cases, bug reports, and other relevant testing materials
• Testing for responsive layouts on various devices, including mobile and tablet
• Analyzing product requirements to ensure alignment with quality standards and confirming that the product being developed is the right fit for customer needs and expectations
• Overseeing release testing procedures to streamline the process and ensure that only high-quality updates are deployed
• Working closely with designers and developers to ensure everything we release achieves the desired outcome
• Maintaining clear and effective communication with the team to confirm that all requirements are accurately met
• Write automated regression tests

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES RELATED TO AUTOMATION:

• Identifying test cases suitable for being included into the automated regression suite
• Developing and executing automated UI and functional tests using C# programming language
• Troubleshooting issues logged during automated tests execution
