    Purpose:
    We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kick start their career in Quality Assurance within the software industry.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is a plus.
  • Experience in writing clear and concise documentation.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
  • Prior exposure to customer support or interaction is advantageous.
  • Passion for ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing on software applications to identify defects and ensure functionality meets quality standards.
  • Provide in-depth support for customer reported production defects and triage issues as they arise.
  • Verify reported bugs, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Execute regression testing to validate software stability and performance across different releases.
  • Document existing processes, workflows, and test scenarios for improved clarity and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases to cover various use cases and scenarios.
  • Collaborate closely with customer-facing teams to understand user requirements and resolve production-related issues promptly.
  • Assist development teams in troubleshooting and diagnosing defects found in production.
  • Participate in team meetings, provide feedback on product quality, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
