We are looking for a QA Engineer in our Software Engineering team to join us on this exciting journey!
Your mission

As our QA Engineer at Prewave, you will…

  • Work together with our Software Engineering team to identify system requirements
  • Design and run systems to identify bugs and potential problems that our users might encounter
  • Perform risk analysis, plan and perform different stages of testing, record test progress and document results
  • Reproduce and identify reported bugs in the codebase
  • Develop new tools, technology and testing processes
  • Perform manual and automated testing
  • Review our interfaces for functionality and consistency

Your profile

Must haves

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position
  • 1+ years of experience with Java/Kotlin
  • Experience of working in software development, using QA methodologies and tools
  • Worked with test-suites before like JUnit, Cypress, Selenium
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
  • A valid work permit in Austria

Bonus points for

  • Familiarity with agile development-processes
  • Experience with automated test-systems and pipelines like BitBucket Pipelines or Jenkins
  • Experience with writing automated tests in Java/Kotlin & JavaScript/TypeScript

According to our collective agreement, the minimum salary for this role is EUR 3,077 gross per month, however the higher packages are likely based on your qualifications and experience.
