JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team as we strive to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will take on the role of Software Quality Assurance Engineer, participating in the implementation of industry standards and ensuring that our software meets user needs. This position requires a good QA background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a good understanding of automated testing tools using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Git, Azure Devops etc
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of software development processes.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Test Plan Development: Create and execute comprehensive software test plans and procedures to identify and address potential issues.
  • Quality Standards and Processes: Develop and implement software quality standards and processes, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
  • Defect Analysis and Tracking: Analyze and document software defects, tracking their resolution progress and collaborating with development teams for effective solutions.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to software development teams on quality assurance topics, fostering a culture of quality within the organization.
  • Process Integration: Monitor software development progress and ensure the seamless integration of quality assurance practices at every stage of the software development process.
  • Progress Reporting: Regularly report on software testing progress and results to relevant stakeholders, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Metric Development and Monitoring: Develop, implement, and monitor metrics to ensure that quality goals are met, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Team collaboration: Develop, collaborate with the TotalVote QA department, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies related to software quality assurance, ensuring that the team remains at the forefront of advancements.
