DESCRIPTION:

Lead the quality assurance efforts, ensuring that solutions meeting the highest standards before release.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree or post graduate degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines.
• At least 5 years of direct work experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Junit, TestNG etc.
• Knowledge of various software development framework such as Agile, SCRUM etc.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Design, develop, and implement best practices in QA and testing methodologies.
• Create details, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
• Conduct hands-on testing.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand requirements and solutions that are being develop.
• Liaise with developers to ensure a thorough understanding of the solutions and to ensure that user needs are met.
• Oversee the tracking of bugs and issues, ensuring they are prioritized, tracked, and reported.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Research and implement new tools and technologies to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in testing.
• Analyze root causes of defects and implement steps to reduce occurrences in future releases.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of solutions.
• Report regular to management on project progress and potential risk relating to QA.
• Conduct training on testing procedures, tools, and standards.
