Hobson Prior is currently seeking a QA Manager for a role based in Stuttgart. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating deviations and complaints, supporting technical transfers, and managing change control. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in chemistry or pharmacy, and a passion for quality management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy, or completed training as a CTA or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of chemistry, pharmacy.
  • Experience in quality management/quality assurance/quality control.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills in cross-departmental teams.
  • Experience with GMP and QMS, ideally in the pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetics industry.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Responsibility, goal-orientation, reliability.
  • Assertiveness, decision-making skills.
  • Structured way of working and good time management.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and social skills.
  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate deviations and complaints, identify and follow up on CAPAs and improvement plans.
  • Support technical transfers, qualification, and validation work.
  • Manage Change Control.
  • Assist in the preparation of product quality reviews for pharmaceuticals, annual product reviews, and trend analyses.
  • Conduct the release of semi-finished and finished products, cosmetics, repellents, and food supplements.
  • Conduct internal audits.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of customer and regulatory audits.
