Primero is seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Advisor/Engineer to be accountable for the execution of the Project Quality Management plan for a $1Billion Design & Construct Project on a FIFO Basis.
Reporting to the Project Quality Manager, you will ensure that the Project Quality plan, procedures and system meets or exceeds industry best practice.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • A degree in Engineering (or equivalent) or Quality Management.
  • Knowledge of Australian standards (eg AS/NZS 9001:2015) industry codes and procedures.
  • Prior experience in the mining, construction or resources sector.
  • Demonstrable experience leading a quality function.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining proactive and productive relationships with key internal project and client stakeholders.
  • Reporting key Quality metrics against project KPI s and industry standards.
  • Conduct periodic audits and inspections of project packages.
  • Compile weekly and monthly progress reports and statistical data analysis.
  • Liaise and assist Engineers and Supervisors with welding documentation, verification and reporting of construction tasks to ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate and support the project team with RFI, TQ, NCRs, registers and reports, and provide associated training where required.
  • Prepare and update progress tracking registers for construction verification.
  • Lead the project Quality close-out and construction verification process.
