Mainline is growing fast and are currently looking to hire a QA/QC Engineer to work on exciting multi-disciplinary and framework projects. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience in a QA/QC Engineering role ideally within the Electrical, Civils or Infrastructure sectors
A recognised Quality qualification would be a distinct advantage
An Electrical qualification would be an advantage
Previous experience working within the electrical / MV/HV industry
Strong IT skills specifically with MS Office software
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer. You will be joining a growing organisation as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of major electrical projects nationwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review and issue final handover packages to the clients
Collaborate with other contractors and request and inspect commissioning certification from them
Ensure compliance to regulatory standards throughout the installation and testing of the project
Liaise with the client on installation and quality matters
Carry out and report on project quality audits for compliance with procedures and processes
Facilitate quality training including induction and refresher training
Develop and Maintain the QMS ensuring fitness for purpose – propose amendments where necessary
Create and maintain Quality Plans for projects
Coordinate and deliver quality toolbox talks and other communications (e.g. Quality Alerts)
Develop, with Operations and Senior Management, Critical to Quality (CTQ) documentation to minimise the risk to business arising from defined critical activities
Co-ordinate and manage operations, engineering and procurement reviews of non-conformances (NCRs) to close out and report internally
Where relevant, review technical submittals
Assist in ‘early catch’ for incorrect material purchase/installation therefore reducing the risk of potential reworks and additional costs
Support Lessons Learnt process
