CP Distributors strives to meet the needs of our diverse customer base. In addition to locations in Saskatoon, including Corporate Branch Support, and the Saskatoon Production Centre, we also have branches in Regina, Edmonton, Calgary, Surrey, and Halifax.
We currently have an opening for an ambitious QA/QC Supervisor. This position is temporary, full-time, and project based, with the possibility of becoming permanent and, for a highly motivated professional, has tremendous growth opportunities.
Location: Project Site Specific (Burrard Street, Vancouver)
Hours: 10-hour days

As a QA/QC Supervisor, you will be responsible to:

  • Create and review technical documentation, including project plans, test procedures and design documents;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, review and maintain metrics and quality audits;
  • Able to lead of team of welder and Installers;
  • Able to Install doors/hardware;
  • Responsible for Inventory control;
  • Skilled at planning, organizing, developing, and implementing programs, goals, policies, and procedures;
  • Ability to read plans & shop drawings;
  • Responsible for inspection installations and utilizing QAQC tools to report.

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Post-Secondary certificate/diploma/degree in Business or related technical field, preferred;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude;
  • Excellent problem identification and resolution skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, BIM360, Bluebeam, or other construction quality control programs is considered an asset;
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.;
  • Previous door and hardware experience.
