QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree or diploma in sciences program is preferred
  • 1-2 years in a quality function within the food and beverage industry is an asset
  • Basic computer skills for data entry
  • Strong emotional intelligence, communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work successfully in a team setting and independently

EXPERIENCE

  • 1 - 2 years: QC/QA Technician

EDUCATION

Preferred

  • Some college or better in Biochemistry or related field

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance, consistency, and integrity
  • Primarily working on the floor to perform line checks and monitor all quality / food safety aspects of operation
  • Responsible for the verification of CCPs and PCPs throughout the process
  • Collects raw material, work-in-progress material, and finished product samples for testing as per company and regulatory requirement
  • Monitor GMP on the floor and report nonconformity
  • Perform all in-house test procedure. Clean, maintenance and calibrate lab testing/monitoring equipment as needed
  • Perform pre-operational inspection and environmental swab
  • Collect all applicable information to ensure appropriate product holds
  • Assist HACCP, SQF non-compliance investigation, and the application of corrective and preventive actions
  • Other duties as assigne
