THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATION, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent skills and experience.
  • 3+ years working experience of black box testing methods and techniques, e.g. Manual system, functional, regression and acceptance testing.
  • Strong analytical skills; experience creating test cases and associated documentation.
  • Full SDLC experience.
  • Understanding of Databases, data structures, and SQL.
  • Familiar with bug tracking software and defect lifecycle.
  • Specific experience in working with web applications.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyse Software requirements and Design Documents.
  • Design and document test scenarios and test cases from requirements to ensure test coverage.
  • Contribute to Test Plan preparation.
  • Perform manual testing in parallel with software development for continuous validation.
  • Test complex areas of application and use business knowledge to determine if functionality is correct.
  • Execute system, functional, regression, integration and acceptance testing within agreed timescales and to best standards.
  • Coordinate and communicate with developers on bug fixes and required modifications.
  • Record and report test results and verify software bug fixes for acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix.
  • Continuously refine our testing processes to improve the test frameworks, tools, technologies and above all quality.
  • Verify/investigate issues raised by Customer Support when required.
  • Responsible for QA in all environments (Development, Integrations, Live).
  • Bring innovative ideas to boost efficiency in testing.
