QA Tester (desktop & mobile)

We are Klim, a Berlin-based clean-tech company revolutionizing climate protection by scaling regenerative agriculture in Germany and Europe. We have launched the world’s first digital platform for regenerative agriculture, which is already being utilized by thousands of farmers. By marketing the associated climate protection services to companies we provide financial compensation to farmers for their regenerative practices and offer high-quality advisory services. Supported by leading investors, including Atlantic Food Labs, Ananda Impact Ventures, and AgFunder, we are now expanding our team and seeking an experienced QA Tester (m/w/d) with experience who is passionate about making a positive impact on the world.

Tasks

• Work with engineering and product to establish test strategies and plans
• Write and maintain test cases
• Manually test, document, and evaluate test results
• Receive bug reports from other areas of the company and ensure that reporters are kept up to date
• Translate bug reports and identified issues into tickets
• Help maintain the bug ticket backlog

What is our tech stack?

• ReactJS for our web client
• NodeJS & Express for our API
• Postgres for relational DB & Sequelize ORM
• Cordova for our hybrid app (our replacement React Native app is in development)
• AWS and related services for our infrastructure
• Atlassian software (Jira, BitBucket, etc)

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a QA tester or related
• Experience working in a startup environment is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment and enthusiasm for doing something positive
• Fluent English
