JOB DESCRIPTION

• Sampling, testing and approving of incoming raw materials and packaging materials; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning out-of-specification material.
• Record and update test results of incoming raw materials and packaging materials in logbook and forms.
• Sampling, testing and approving of in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating discrepancies to Production Supervisor & QC Manager.
• Record and update test results of in-process materials in forms and in ERP.
• Collect in-process samples and store in retention samples area with proper label on cartridges and cartons.
• Sampling testing and approving filled finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
• Record and update test results of finished good materials in forms and checklists.
• Collect finished goods samples and store in retention samples area with proper label on cartons, recorded on control samples log and updated on ERP.
• Routine inspection in production to check ongoing process.
• Random check on finished goods in carton for final check before transfer to warehouse.
