We are looking for a QC Scientist I, Material Management on site in Lengnau (Bern).
The job holder is responsible that QC materials, consumables and critical reagents are handled according to the Thermo Fisher and local policy.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor or Master in Molecular Biology / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Chemical Engineering, or a related field or education.
  • At least 2 years of experience in GMP regulated industries.
  • Experience in Material Management in QC Laboratories.
  • Experience in deviation, change control and CAPA management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and German.
  • Passion for collaboration in teams.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent communication and prioritization skills.
  • Strong desire to learning new skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the material management of QC from introduction of new materials up to their obsoletion incl. purchasing and inventory management.
  • Responsible for QC laboratories support tasks such as waste management, facility monitoring and support maintenance of analytical equipment.
  • Provide timely support to the QC lab units for the investigation and resolution of OOX, Change Controls and Deviations.
  • Support the review and authorization of analytical data.
