Sensient Technologies New Zealand, is a fast growing business unit within the Sensient Flavours & Colours, Asia-Pacific Group. We provide quality food ingredients to our customers on a world-wide basis, and are highly successful through our attention to customer service, creative technological innovation and product quality. We currently seek a QC Technician to join our team at our Mt Wellington, Auckland facility.
What you will do:
- Daily routine testing (including sensory) of finished products and inspection of incoming goods.
- Maintenance of specifications and records of finished products and raw materials.
- Assisting in the investigation of production issues and customer complaints.
- Assisting in cleaning and organisation of the QC Lab.
- Take part in auditing to ensure GMP compliance or Quality standard of the facility is maintained.
- Other QA/QC duties as directed by the QA/QC Team Leader /or Technical Manager.
- Working hours: Afternoon shift 12:30 - 21:00 Monday to Friday
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Food Science, Food Technology or Technical Degree required.
- At least 1 - 2 years of experience in lab environment required.
- Understands basic statistical tools.
- Knowledge of GMP standard
