ISQ Recruitment is seeking a QHSE Officer on behalf of one of our prestigious multinational clients with a plant in Norfolk.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with worldwide multinational company with factories in 17 countries.
Working in the FMCG sector but non food, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious QHSE officer to work closely with Production and QA departments to help drive health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

Reporting to Quality Manager, your main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Provide operational support on all aspects of health, safety, environment and quality.
  • To engage closely with operations colleagues to improve and drive QHSE standards.
  • Compile accident and incident reports and undertake incident investigations as require.
  • Conduct QHSE audits and implement corrective measures as required.
  • Prepare collate and review safety related documentation submitted by both internal and external stakeholders’ including - Safety Plans, Training document.
  • Maintain the management system and identify and implement initiatives to improve it including all procedures, processes, safe systems of work, and Risk Assessments.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of current health and safety legislation, be confident, well organised, with a flexible ‘can-do’ attitude, have attention to detail and be a team player
Excellent IT skills required.

Responsibilities:

PLEASE NOTE, THIS ROLE REQUIRES OWN TRANSPORT AND DOES NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP OR RELOCATION OPTIONS

Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am till 4.30pm some flexibility required.
