QS Engineer

We are on behalf of our client looking for a QS Engineer for a project in Oslo, Norway.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Bachelor or higher technical education with relevant experience. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education
• Previous QS and/or Mechanical PRE experience is needed
• Software Skills: PIMS; Microsoft; MIPS
• Flexible and available to travel around the world
• Fluent in English (written and oral)
• To be considered for this position you must have a valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU)

You will be working as QS Engineer in our clients projects and your responsibility includes but is not limited to the following:

• Responsible for Quality Surveillance activities within given area of responsibility for the project
• Planning, preparation, organization, and execution of QS activities within areas of responsibility, in accordance with the project procedures and plans
• Jointly responsible for the establishment of governing documents, procedures and work instructions as required for QS within given responsibility
• Ensure that health, safety and environmental (HSE) aspects are thoroughly assessed, planned, implemented, and followed up for all QS project activities
• Execution of QS activities within given responsibility, in accordance with the project procedures and plans
