Responsibilities:

As a phlebotomist, you will be taking blood and samples from patients for diagnostics laboratory testing in a timely and correct manner. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer experiences to our patients by ensuring all patients are treated with dignity, respect, and courtesy.

We currently have full-time and part-time positions available as per below:

  • Tauranga hospital-based(experienced staff preferred): Monday to Friday between 0700 -1300. Saturday and Sunday 0700 – 1200. Some overtime may be required.
  • Community Collection rooms: Positions will be rostered between our ten collection sites from Katikati to Te Puke. Rostered hours are between the hours of 0700 and 1800 Monday to Friday, with participation in a weekend roster. Saturday morning 0800 -1200.

Work hours may vary depending on the site you are working at and therefore the successful applicant must be flexible to the needs of the service and be able to work across sites within the Bay of Plenty.
