ConsultANZ is looking for a Quality Advisor/Manager to join a top tier civil engineering company and be involved in major infrastructure projects.

  • Salary package: Advisor level - $80k - $100k + car, Manager level - $100k - $130k + car (negotiable based on skills & experience)
  • Based in Tauranga or Napier
  • Permanent Full-time

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Must have at least 5-7+ years’ experience for Advisor level, and 8-10+ years’ experience for Manager level.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance or quality management, specifically in civil engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant quality standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for quality management and data analysis.

Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES

Your responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures for all stages of the projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and client specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality management principles and best practices.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement in quality management systems.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients regarding quality-related matters and participate in client meetings as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to quality assurance in civil engineering.
