About the role
Balfour Beatty has a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Analyst to join our amazing Major Projects team to work at our iconic Old Oak Common development in London.
HS2s new c. 1 billion Old Oak Common station will become the UKs best-connected rail station once completed. Our Balfour Beatty VINCI SYTRA joint venture will be responsible for the final design, construction, and commissioning of the station in Northwest London.
Upon completion, the new station will boast six underground platforms and up to eight platforms on the adjacent Great Western Main Line. Old Oak Common will also provide highspeed rail services to the Midlands, central London, Scotland, and the North, as well as direct services to three major airports. Incorporating passenger and retail facilities, the new station will provide an exceptional customer experience for both passengers and visitors to the station.
As a Quality Analyst you will maintain and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) and support the Handover & Quality Manager with the administration and analysis of IMS, Handover and Audit data
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and maintain a knowledge of the relevant processes and procedures within the Balfour Beatty Business Management System (BB BMS) to assist integration of appropriate elements in to the BBVS IMS
- Support development, documentation and ongoing maintenance of the BBVS IMS and actively participate in the formal review, and improvement, of the BBVS IMS
- Maintain the IMS User Interface in ALIM
- Ensure that the BBVS project team have access and are trained in the use of the BB BMS and BBVS IMS
- Monitor the status of documents in the IMS and notify owners of documents that are due for review/revision
- Review information including lessons learnt, audit findings and trends relevant to performance of the IMS, proactively champion maintenance / improvement to ensure the IMS remains current, relevant, applicable, effective, and efficient
Who we’re looking for

- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Experience in an administration / analyst role
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
