About the job
With this position you will be part of the Engineering & Supply function in the Business Unit High-Speed Separators which is responsible for the design, manufacturing, and delivery of separator systems for various industries: Brewery, Beverage, Dairy, Edible Oil, Biopharma & Industrial Fermentation and Ethanol, Starch & Sugar.

Quality and Compliance are crucial and we’re heading for a future packed with innovation. For that reason, we are now looking to strengthen our Quality team with a Quality and Compliance Engineer. As a Quality and Compliance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring in the quality and compliance in product development and customer projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess, document, and implement compliance measures, helping to uphold our commitment to product quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct risk assessments for personal safety in accordance with applicable product legislations/directives.
  • Ensure that the quality and compliance process, procedures, and guidelines are understood, aligned, and followed.
  • Support with technical compliance expertise and guidance in product development projects and customer projects.
  • Engage in customer claims and drive or support quality and compliance related investigations.
  • Participate in activities to ensuring that the quality management system conforms to customer, internal, and regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Create and maintain internal quality and compliance in governing documents, processes, and design guidelines.
  • Lead improvement projects with Lean Six Sigma-based approach.
  • Provide training in GMP, risk assessment methodology, problem resolution, etc.

The position is based in our offices in Tumba, Stockholm.

Furthermore, we expect you have:

  • A university degree within Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in working with product safety and/ or compliance related activities in an industrial company or related field (e.g. R&D or Quality).
  • Knowledge within product regulations, CE marking as minimum and 3rd party approvals in compliance areas of machinery safety.
  • Organizational skills, effective communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, alongside project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • A proven track record of leading product and process change initiatives.
  • Knowledge in Lean Six Sigma and project management is valuable.
