Disability Empowerment and Support Foundation (DESF)
DESF provides staff to various SIL Providers in WA with services from administration to disability support workers.
DESCRIPTION:
The Quality and Compliance Manager at Disability Empowerment and Support Foundation plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organisation adheres to regulatory standards and maintains high-quality services. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Conducting regular audits to identify areas for improvement and address non-compliance issues.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop effective quality control processes and initiatives.
- Providing guidance and support to staff on quality and compliance-related matters, including training programmes.
- Analysing data to identify trends and potential areas of risk, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Preparing reports for senior management on quality performance, compliance status, and recommendations for improvement.
- Liaising with external regulators, auditors, and stakeholders to facilitate inspections, audits, and assessments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across different departments. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
- Proven experience in quality management and compliance within the NDIS sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for liaising with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies
- Ability to develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation related to quality and compliance
- Audit experience and the capability to lead or support audits to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Experience in developing and delivering training programmes on quality and compliance topics
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organisational processes
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools for monitoring key performance indicators related to quality and compliance
- Relevant qualifications in quality management, compliance, or a related field would be advantageous
