Description:

Incidents Support the Quality Partner with preparing the weekly report on all open incidents within the division. Support the Quality Partner with preparing SBAR documentation for the weekly Incident Review Group (IRG) meeting. Support management team with completion of actions arising from incident investigations. Support staff with incident reporting, submitting returned to reporter incidents and saved for later incidents.
Support managers and clinicians with timely production of Duty of Candour and Acknowledgment of Responsibility letters. Support with the arrangement of After Action Reviews conducted within the division. Complaints/PALS Support the Quality Partner at ensuring that patient complaints are appropriately sent to the relevant managers for investigation, responded to within the internal timeframe and the complaint response formulated and submitted. Support the matrons and ward managers with patient engagement initiatives within the Moorfields South division.
Support local management teams with timely responses to PALS enquiries. Escalate any issues or lack of Divisional updates to the Quality Partner Training Co-ordinate the timetable for any bespoke training for the divisional teams delivered by the Quality Partner and the Central Team. Communication Obtaining and relaying clinic audit updates from clinical teams to divisional management Obtaining and relaying patient safety incident updates from clinical/admin teams to divisional management Obtaining and relaying risk register updates from clinical teams to divisional management Risk assessments and walkabouts Co-ordinate the timetable for divisional matrons and quality partner walkabouts. Provide support to the Quality Partner with the divisional risk assessments and walkabouts and ensure findings are typed, recorded and shared appropriately.
Set up reminders for monthly risk register reviews. Support local management teams with departmental risk register reviews. Audits and projects Provide support to the Quality Partner in ensuring that divisional audits and actions are registered, updated, and closed. Support in carrying out internal audits.
This includes auditing the pathways and processes in place within the South Division. Assist the Quality Partner in the management and delivery of the internal projects across the division. Support the divisional team with extracting incident/complaints/PALs/audit data from the internal reporting system. Support the Quality Partner with preparation for CQC inspections Team Meetings Support the Quality Partner in delivering Quality updates for team meetings across the division
