Description:

Overview
To analyze functional, technical and project requirements to determine the most appropriate application testing approach. Create effective test strategy, plan and scripts to ensure thorough coverage. Perform integration, regression, and functional testing on changes and/or enhancements. Support business unit through testing process as well as to support the respective ETS group’s functions, projects, and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, review and prepare data to be used by analysts and management in the analysis of operations, services, and products
  • Ensure compliance with Navy Federal Credit Union ETS standards and best practices
  • Provide day-to-day support for assigned Navy Federal testing efforts in compliance with NFCU standards, processes and procedures following the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) or applicable Agile Methodology
  • Perform integration, regression, and functional testing on changes and/or enhancements
  • Create, modify and/or locate the data and conditions needed to execute test cases
  • Interpret results of analysis, present recommendations, alternatives, and implications
  • Analyze changes in policies, procedures, and products; determine the impact on the functions of the section.
  • Provide oversight and responsibility in following the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices
  • Analyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statistics
  • Analyze and identify opportunities for new and/or improved processes, data, or technology; provide clear picture of possible outcome(s)
  • Solve business problems by defining the problem, interviewing business units, identifying and evaluating alternatives, and presenting findings
  • Work with peers, business units and/or project teams, and vendors to ensure business needs are fully communicated, documented and satisfied
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Experience in testing complex systems including various platforms
  • Experience working with Agile development team
  • Advanced knowledge of development or operations framework methodologies, including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), etc
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Basic research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic skill analyzing and organizing problems or work processes for technical solutions
  • Basic skill communicating with all levels within an organization
  • Basic skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Basic skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely

  • Experience working on Azure Dev Ops for test cases creation and test execution
  • Experience Leading Teams
